(March 13th, 2009) In remembrance of Dan Ketcham, a former Math Department Chair who lost his battle with cancer, the Math Honor Society conducts a Pie Day fundraiser every March 14th (i.e. pi = 3.14, hence the name).  Proceeds create monies for scholarships given in his name as well as for Math Honor Society members.  Remaining money supports the membership in MHS.
