At A Crossroads: Wondering What's Next After High School?

If you are a high school student, the parent of a high school student, or contemplating your next career move, be sure to attend this important presentation.  

Lane Glenn, Ph.D., president of Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, Mass., will speak on Wednesday, October 19, at 6:30 p.m. in the PAC.  Mr. Glenn will discuss the value of a community college education, the role it serves in the community, and how it translates into real-world jobs. 

A dynamic speaker with an interesting background, Mr. Glenn has spent 20 years in the classroom and college administration, and has worked as an actor and director for the stage, television and films. He is a researcher, author and consultant on topics ranging from team building, conflict management, and behavior and learning styles in the classroom and in the workplace. 

Mr. Glenn became president of NECC in July of 2011. Prior to his appointment, he served as NECC's vice president of academic affairs for five years.
