Timberlane Regional School District has an "Induction
With Mentoring" program for all new teachers.They will receive a
mentor/peer coach their first 3 years at Timberlane, who will be
trained to guide a new teacher along the continuum beginning with a
consult relationship and gradually moving to a collaborative and
finally coaching stance.
Teachers helping teachers creates a positive,
supportive and challenging atmosphere in our schools for teachers to
grow their craft and be the best they can be. We are interested in
individuals who have a passion for teaching, and who desire to be
learners themselves. Our "Induction With Mentoring" program wants to
foster and encourage this attitude.
