Syllabus - 2009-10

Language skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing

 Listed below are some examples of what we will be doing for each language skill:

 Listening: Everyday participation/language practice, respond to commands, listen to stories and songs, listen to others read

Speaking: Speak only in Spanish, daily oral practice, converse with others, story retells in class and at home, sing songs

Reading: Mini-stories; Realia; Novels, such as: Pobre Ana bailó tango, El viaje de su vida, Mi propio auto, ¿Dónde está Eduardo?, La guitarra misteriosa, Secretos de la familia

   Writing: Freewrites, compositions/essays, various homework assignments

            Cultural topics are included throughout the 4 language skills.
