Who Is EHS?
EHS is a schoolwide
organization with the goal of promoting literacy and an appreciation of
literature among young people. EHS conducts many events throughout the
school year to meet this goal, including Coffee Houses (where students and
sometimes faculty perform to raise funds for scholarships), book drives, and
society book discussions.
How Can I Become a Member?
- Must be a junior or senior the following academic
year
- Have at least a 93% academic average in all
English courses taken
- Request a recommendation from two English
teachers
- Fill out an application provided by the
organization in the spring
- Provide a well-written essay on a topic
provided by the organization
